Willow by the river

I started working on this project more than four months ago but had to focus on another one.
I’m a bit sad that I won’t be finishing it, but this piece helped me grow as a 3D artist.
At this point, I don’t have the time to rework or polish it, so I’m presenting it as it is.

The tree was made in a stylized realism approach and contains around 1000 tris (it could probably be optimized down to 700–800).
The grass, flowers, and bushes were created on alpha planes with separate transparent textures.

For the scene, I used Unreal Engine 5, where I borrowed a few rocks and ground textures.
I adjusted the ground materials to reduce visible tiling and used the engine’s foliage system to scatter grass, bushes, and stones across the scene in a random pattern with slight scale variations.
The grass and tree branches move gently as if blown by wind - this was achieved through material settings in UE5.
